FAQ

Questions about business returns

When are business returns due?

For calendar-year businesses, S corporation and partnership returns are due March 15. Sole owners and single-member LLCs file with their personal return, due April 15. The deadlines page lists every date.

My LLC has one owner. Which form do I file?

Usually Schedule C on your personal return, unless your LLC chose to be taxed as an S corporation. We check how yours is set up.

My books are behind. Can you still file?

Yes. We catch up your bookkeeping first, then use those numbers to prepare the return.

I get paid by card and through apps. Does that change anything?

Those payments often come with a Form 1099-K. We check it against your records so no income gets counted twice.
