Deadlines
IRS tax deadlines
Federal dates for personal returns, business returns and estimated payments. Texas has no state income tax, so these are the dates that count.

Filing extensions
An extension gives you more time to file. Your payment is still due.
An extension moves the filing date for a personal return to October 15. Any tax you owe is still due by the April date. If you can't finish in time, call (214) 352-1600 or walk in. We'll help you file the extension and estimate what to pay.
